Last Slice

Yum! I made this cake yesterday and in less than 24 hours this is all that is left. M even thought it was delicious! A parent at work made this for the teachers and we all though it was delicious so I had to find the recipe to give it a try myself. I was surprised when I searched for it online that only one person had posted the recipe.

So for anyone interested here's a very moist, rich cake that is super easy to make.

Stranger's Cake

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 (16oz.) container of coconut pecan frosting

Preheat over to 350*. Grease and flour bundt cake pan. Mix all ingredients together. Pour into pan and bake 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Looks sort of like a hummingbird cake but not with all the trouble. If I was going to call it a Stranger's Cake, I think I would have called it a Gypsy's Cake. I might have to try it and you know I don't bake!

And by the way, I'm not in Macon!
