Beads, Beads, and More Beads
I had to give them a few lesson on how to "been seen" so that they would get plenty of beads at the Mardi Gras parade. I knew W would be able to easily handle the task of yelling out for beads since she's such a show boat, but M I wasn't sure. I think the picture tells the story. M didn't hold back and was able to easily keep up with W. After the parade, we went out to eat Mexican food. I thought it was really cute that M wanted to wear her beads into the restaurant while W only wanted to wear a few of them. It's so unlike W to not want the attention from wears pounds of beads around her neck.
They ended up with 229 strands of beads, 4 stuffed animals, 3 balls, 3 cups, 2 frisbees, and 2 plastic coin. Problem now is what in the world do you do with 229 strands of beads!!!!

And I have to add...what's up with W's smile???? She's normally the one with such a great natural smile anytime I want to take a picture. But in this one...well, could it be more forced!

Hi Joy! Is there a Mardi Gras parade in Galveston this year? This one was in Orange, which is probably a much smaller parade than most, but you just got to love the small town fun we can have around here : )
Whoa, that's a lot of beads!!!!
